A Sheraden man has been convicted in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this year.
26-year-old Antonio Stamps was arrested following the shooting of Andrew Smith. Smith was shot May 11, 2012 along Crucible Street in Sheraden in a dispute over money. Smith initially survived the shooting but died June 8, 2012.
Following a jury trial this week before Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Joe Williams, Stamps was convicted of first degree murder and a firearms violation. A sentencing date has not been set.
